RCTA Horse Trial Classlist

The Horse Trial, or One Day Event, comprises three unique tests, usually taking place on one day, during which a competitor rides the same horse throughout. These include:
Dressage
Cross-Country (comprising four distinct Phases: A - Roads and Tracks - normally carried out at a trot or slow canter; B - Steeplechase - normally carried out a gallop, with obstacles; C - Roads and Tracks - normally carried out at the trot or slow canter; D - Cross-Country, with obstacles, normally carried out at a gallop.)
Show Jumping
The Dressage Test must be first. The Cross-Country and Show Jumping may take place in either order.
In principle, Cross-Country should be the most influential of the three tests of a Horse Trial. The Dressage Test, while slightly less influential than the Cross-Country, should be slightly more influential than the Jumping Test. The following levels of competition may be offered at a Horse Trial:

1. Beginner Novice
2. Novice
3. Training
4. Preliminary
5. Intermediate
6. Advanced

Rules
1. One level per horse.
2. The same rider rides the horse throughout the competition.
3. You may enter as many horses per level as you wish.
4. Please enter correctly. Incorrect entries will be deleted without notice.
5. Also check the general eventing rules to learn about disqualifications, proper dress, and proper saddlery for your eventers.

To enter, please send Danya:
Horse owned by owner from barn initials (mini-barn owners, please use @ symbol, or your entries will be deleted).
Example:
Spider Lullaby owned by Danya Stevenson from LEC

Fees:
$50 Administration fee
Registered Horse Fee:$100 per horse per level (Seem expensive? It is - it's very expensive to run an event, so these costs are put back into future shows.)
Non-Registered Horse Fee: $200 per horse per level
$50 per day stall fee (please just don't include it - let me know if you need a stall and for how many days, so I can know how many horses I need stabling for)
